Case Studies - Programme Management

Invention for Innovation

Quotec worked with the UK National Institute of Health Research to design, launch and manage the Inventions for Innovation funding programme. This programme supports the development of medical devices and involves collaborations between industry, NHS and academia.

After five rounds of commissioning, the collaborative programme has committed funds to over 30 projects from over 120 applications.

Knowledge Transfer Networks

Quotec helped the UK Department of Trade and Industry to develop a blueprint for Knowledge Transfer Networks in the UK and assisted in the development of more than 20 networks in topics ranging from electronics through materials and maths to instrumentation and position-based services.

Quotec’s mentoring services ensured a rapid start for the new networks, as well as helping those already established with their promotion and impact.
